My name is Angelique, I am a new graduate of General Sonography. I am passionate about Obstetrices & Gynecology and I have a strong interest in MSK imaging. I am looking forward to providing new and innovative imaging techniques to the Bundaberg region.

Dean

Chief Radiographer

Dean has been a radiographer since 2012 and has experience working with a wide range of patients in the areas of general X-ray, CT, Fluoroscopy, Theatre, Emergency and Bone Density with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail,resulting in high quality outcomes for the patient and optimal care

Dean has a strong focus on training and has provided guidance to dozens of students in basic and advanced medical imaging methods with an additional emphasis on techniques for communicating with patients as well as adapted imaging techniques for special circumstances.

Emma

Senior Sonographer

Emma is a highly skilled Senior Sonographer with over 10 years of experience, graduating from the University of South Australia with a Graduate Diploma in Medical Sonography. Emma combines her wealth of experience and skills in a range of ultrasound procedures with a caring approach to patient care. With commitment to professional development, Emma is dedicated to delivering the highest standard of service.

Michelle

Medical Receptionist

I am a mother to 3 grown children and 7 grandchildren which keeps me very busy. I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, going to the beach, camping and exercise.

I have worked in the healthcare industry for the past 15 years, starting as a medical receptionist and working my way up to practice supervisor for a very busy local general practice.

With an interest in the clinical aspect of general practice, I completed my cert 1V in medical practice assisting (MA) course in 2019, which enabled me to help in a clinical role alongside the nurses and doctors. With both administrative and clinical knowledge, I was able to better understand and support the needs of our patients.

I have recently changed my position with the interest of staying in the healthcare industry from general practice to radiology here at Voxel. I am looking forward to learning all there is to know radiology whilst bringing my healthcare experience to benefit and help our staff and patients.

Rebekah

Trainee Sonographer

Rebekah is a dedicated Junior Sonographer eager to contribute her skills in ultrasound and patient care. She first entered into a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program in 2019 and is now studying towards a Graduate Diploma in Medical Ultrasound. Rebekah has quickly gained hands-on experience in performing ultrasound scans under the guidance of senior professionals. She has a special interest in gynaecology and abdominal imaging, striving for accuracy and empathy in her interactions with patients. Rebekah is committed to continuous learning and professional development, aiming to achieve certification through the Australian Sonography Accreditation Registry (ASAR) to further enhance her expertise. Her enthusiasm for improving diagnostic outcomes and supporting healthcare teams makes her a valuable asset in her field.

Summer

MRI Radiographer assist. / Typist Trainee

Summer Brooks is a dedicated and skilled tech assistant at voxel radiology, specialising in MRI and CT procedures. She plays a significant role in ensuring the smooth operation of medical imaging equipment and contributing to the timely diagnoses for patients.

With a background rooted in healthcare, Summer also has experience in pathology as she was previously a phlebotomist working at Sullivan Nicoladies pathology. Her experience includes venipuncture techniques, ensuring accurate specimen collection and patient comfort during blood draws.

Prior to Summers current role, summer has gained valuable experience and skills through progressive responsibilities, where she demonstrates a strong work ethic and a dedication to delivering expectational healthcare services.

Hi I’m Susan, Voxel Radiology's newly appointed Administration Coordinator and Receptionist. I have over 35 years of expertise in sales and customer service. I am committed to delivering exceptional administrative support and pride myself in creating a safe and welcoming environment for all.

My extensive background in sales has provided me with a wealth of skills in how to provide exceptional customer service, time management, and effective communication. I’m eager to leverage these strengths in an administrative capacity for our practice and dedicated to ensuring smooth operations whilst providing outstanding service to our clients.

With over 20 years of experience as a medical receptionist, I have honed my skills in customer service, orgniszation, and attention to detail Alongside my professional career, I have always had a passion for agriculture, earning a diploma degree in applied science in this field This love for nature extends to my hobbies of gradening and caring for animals, where i find solace and joy

In my personal life, I enjoy savoring a good cup of coffee and going on lunch dates with my husband, cherishing these moments of connection and relaxation. I also have a curious nature and love engaging with strangers, often finding exciting and facinating information from people i dont’t know . the curiosity drives me to constantly learn and grow , both personally and professionally
